Built on the legacy that Dr Vaidya established with the Voith Group, Vaidya Holdings has more than six decades of business excellence behind it. Through responsible business practices and purposeful investments, the Group continues to create employment, all over Nepal, while contributing to Nepal’s socio economic development.

1960s

The foundation of Dr. Vaidya’s business legacy was established with the Distributorship for Toyota with United Traders Syndicate. His vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to Nepal’s progress laid the groundwork for what would become one of the country’s respected business groups.

1995

Guranse Tea Estate commenced commercial operations in Hile, Dhankuta, producing premium orthodox and specialty teas. The estate went on to become one of the world’s highest tea estates, exporting its teas to international markets.

1998

Vijay Motors Pvt. Ltd. was established, marking the Group’s entry into Nepal’s automotive sector with the GM Dealership for Nepal. The company later became the sole distributor of Subaru for Nepal while building a reputation for quality customer care and after sales service.

2003–2009

The Group expanded rapidly with the establishment of Mai Tea Company (2003), Nepal Well-Hope Agri-Tech (2007), Vizu Poultry (2008), and BG Nepal (2009), strengthening its presence across agriculture, tea, poultry, and automotive solutions.

2017–2025

Vaidya Holdings continued diversifying through new ventures including Tin Piple Farm, Dumkibas Poultry Farm, Bridhi Organics, Vizu Breeders, Sunways Bio Science, and Thanimai Agro. During this period, the Group also expanded its wellness initiatives through Altitude Yoga Retreats and Wellness while strengthening its commitment to sustainability and rural development.

Today

Vaidya Holdings operates across automotive trading, agri industries, tea production, wellness, and related businesses. The Group continues to grow and create employment, empower communities, and promote sustainable and inclusive growth throughout Nepal.

With a forward thinking vision, Vaidya Holdings continues to expand into new opportunities, like Coffee, organic fruit and other farming, while strengthening its existing businesses. The Group remains committed to innovation, responsible leadership, and creating lasting value for future generations.
