Established in 1998 by Annie Gardner Vaidya, Vijay Motors Pvt. Ltd. began as the sole distributor of General Motors India in Nepal, introducing the Opel brand followed by Chevrolet in 2004. The company quickly earned a reputation for personalized customer care, reliable after sales service, and professional automotive solutions.

In late 2005, Vijay Motors was appointed the exclusive distributor of Subaru for Nepal. Following General Motors’ withdrawal from export markets, the company strengthened its commitment to the Subaru brand while continuing to service Opel, Chevrolet, and Subaru vehicles through its dedicated after sales facility. Under the aegis of Vijay Motors, Matrix and BG Nepal Pvt. Ltd. was later established to expand the Group’s automotive maintenance solutions and for import of greening and sustainable solutions.
